Angela Evelyn Bassett was born in the United States. Angela Evelyn is an American actress. Bassett was brought up by her aunt in Winston Salem, North Carolina. Born and grew up at home in New York New York. Bassett was able to move with her younger older sister St. Petersburg Florida at five years old in order to be closer to their mother as she was divorced from their father. Bassett was in high school and watched John Steinbeck's stage play Of Mice and Men with James Earl Jones and she decided to become an actress. Yale University New Haven Connecticut awarded her a bachelor's degree (1980) with a focus on African American study, and a graduate degree (1983) at the Yale School of Drama. She was introduced to Courtney B. Vance, another actress from Yale and they got married in 1997. Qualification: B.A. the Yale School of Drama conferred an M.A. in Fine Arts in African American Studies to Angela Bassett in the year. She attended the school following: Jordan Park elementary school, Disston Middle School for seventh graders, Azalea Middle School for the 8th and 9th grade in addition to Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett is currently working as one of the main roles in the film Ramonda in the action film i.e. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022).
